REP Fitness Inventory Tracker

One of my biggest annoyances is trying to buy something that’s in demand. I really wanted to get a bench from REP Fitness and every time I tracked their inventory ETAs, I’d still miss the equipment I wanted to buy.

Naturally, I wrote a small script to tell me when the content on the page of the equipment I wanted to buy actually changed. The script hashes the content on the pge and then at an interval I specify, will compare a new hash to the old one. If there’s any difference, I get a notification on my Mac.

Needless to say, it worked and I was able to get what I needed.
