OctoSQL is a query tool that allows you to join, analyse and transform data from multiple databases and file formats using SQL.

I always enjoy seeing these kinds of tools because it starts to hint at the kind of world where data federation could become a reality. AFAIK, data federation has been a thing for a long time.
